“You just have to live and life will give you pictures.”
— Henri Cartier Bresson
Why do you need a Family Photographer?
The days are long, but the years are short.
That is what I was told as a new mother. I didn't believe that in the beginning, but 3 children later I believe it with my whole heart. The everyday hustle and bustle of a parent can sometimes be a thief of those small joyous moments we encounter everyday, and then before you know it, your kids are grown.
As your family photographer I will capture candid moments of playing and snuggles, document growth, individual personalities, and show the world your most cherished relationships.
Story Telling Sessions
These family sessions are meant to be an time spent playing, laughing, cuddling, and connecting. All I ask, is that you show up yourselves, ready to just be together. I want to capture the way your children hold your hand, the way your spouse looks at you, the unique way you play with your child’s hair, and the way you would all interact as if there was not a camera there.
I will guide you with prompts and keep the session flowing to create a calm and loving atmosphere for your family.
Trust me, I know how much you want to hold on to every second
We will start with a Pre-Session Email questionnaire. My goal for this is to get to know your family better and what makes them special. This email questionnaire will allow me some insight into your personalities. It will help us put together your vision for your dream family session.
When and Where do these Sessions take place?
Looking for some outdoor sunset pictures that capture the perfect golden glow? Does spending time in nature holding hands and kissing baby cheeks sound like the perfect photograph of love for your family?
Outdoor Golden Hour sessions take place 1.5 hours before sunset at a location of your choice.
Perhaps you're thinking you would like to have photos of your family interacting in your home, with all their favorite things. Baking cookies, snuggling on the couch, their favorite blanket or stuffed animal. Creating a unique photo that is special to your family.
In-Home sessions take place during the day, while there is still plenty of daylight. We can discuss timing for these on an individual basis.
Maybe being outside is not possible and the thought of being photographed in your home sends you into a frenzy of anxiety.. There is another option!
There are plenty of local indoor photography studios that are available for rent!
